Family

A lot of things I can live without

But I find it impossible to live without this

It's not food or water

It's not shelter or bed to sleep in

It's the family that has grown around me

Friends come and go

But family is forever

Forever

They know me better than any piece of technology will

They know me better than any other person does

They take the good with the bad

Why choose anything else?

They understand who I am

They don't judge my every mistake

They want what is best for me

Why choose anything else?

We share the same love for each other

We are blood

We are kin

Why choose anything else?
