Family

I'm different from my family
I'm the outsider in the bunch.
The one who sits alone
When everyone talking about their day
I'm the one who stays away.
Thinks to herself
On how I can get away.
Right after high school
Ill be gone & on my own
Looking for a career I can call my own.
I want to be successful
Unlike my family now.
They have "different" jobs
That don't suit me somehow
I tend to point out the difference
Between them & I
Like the way we talk
I tend to be more smarter
In the way that I reply
It's like I don't belong
I should be somewhere else
A family like myself
Maybe then we'd get along
We could relate
Talk it all out
Be happy & close
Like a family should be.
