Family

Family?

The people who are supposed to be there for you, right?

Family?

The people who you can always count on when you days aren't that bright?

Family?

The people who give you support, advice, and unconditional love?

Love?

The piece of crap I was left out of.

Where were you when I needed you?

Where were you when the world broke through?

The times we were supposed to unite...

You talked about me, and left me alone in the fight.

You kicked me, hit me, and hurt me.

I'm not mad, you helped me realize I am free.

The physical, mental, and emotional pain...

So little a person can drain.

But Family?

Yes Family...

The people who share the blood running in our veins.
