Family

I remember those early mornings and quiet laughters

My sisters and my brothers come towards me, each step becoming faster

Greeting them with a smile, we talked as if it has been years

The sky still not yet illuminated, make us quiver in fear

Suddenly, a bright light huddles over our body

Above us, a loving figure of our mother and her cup of coffee

"Don't be late for the bus", her sweet voice speaks

Rushing to get ready, we all run out the door, our father squeezing our cheeks

Time goes by slowly, the flowers all waiting the month May

Approaching home, we get prepared to restart the day
