Family

Days in and days out I haven't seen your faces,

Just heard your name in crazy, heart warming stories.

I've imagined many faces, places, and lives.

Finally, here we are today where we hug and kiss everyday.

Far away you all are but my heart remains with yours.

I will face starless skies, enormous mountains, and endless journeys to be here with you again.

These moments that we share together may not last for long but,

These memories we create will remain within forever.

I will always thank you.

Not only for opening your homes and lives but for giving me the most valuable memoreies,

Good and bad.

We laugh, we cry, we joke, we love but, most importanly we learn.

We learn from one another and I have learned from you all.

I have something that others would die for.

I have the knowledge of all your wisdom which I promise will stay with me forever.

To think of our parents past and childhood and to see the stories I have always heard come to life,

To be seen with my own eyes,

Is truly a blessing.

The truth is that I am sincerely blessed but, in actuality

God has blessed us all,

For us to be here in this time together and God willing we shall be again.

We shall relive old memories and create new ones.

So until next time...

Thank you for keeping my hope alive,

I'll miss you all

And,

I love you always.
