Family is key

Family is key,

Or so they always tell me.

Family will be there for you,

To support and love too.

But it’s not always like that.

They sometimes hurt you like a rat.

They build your dreams

But can tear it into seams.

They build you to be strong,

But the feelings about yourself are wrong.

Family is key,

Or so they always tell me.

My family can be like this,

But they are my eternal bliss.
