Family Mentor

The person who I have become is not simply based on fate.

There is a reason and a purpose for my becoming state.

A unit, as strong as strong can be, has made me who I am, down to every last trait.

I stand firm in this belief, I am not willing to debate.

The family is a powerful force,

One which has much power to enforce.

Values, standards and traditions will affect the traveled course.

Whether good or bad, it is the source.

As a human being, swayed by trends,

I know of a surety, the ability and power of this lens.

It provides an escape from the daily bends,

That twist through life;full of dead-ends.

My mentor is intact.

Eight to be exact.

Each member knows when to act,

To ensure we all are backed.
