Family Time

Sittin on my back porch Watching the sun scorch Wife and kids playing in the background These are the reasons I'm still around. I sometimes sit back and think How'd I get some damn lucky I might not of always had it in life Now I've got a beautiful wife we've made a beautiful world And I've got a great place to lay to sleep at night. My two little girls They make up my world We go together like Shirley Temple and curls. I might not of always had a good life I know what it's like when money is so tight you can't have a night light on Or even have lights at all Oh youre four years old now time to work now your able. Cut the grass to keep food on the table and just think that's just the beginning. I can tell you story's and your head will be spinning. But my horror stories were real life And it's been things like that That makes me wanna end it tonite. But then I look over my shoulder my wife gives me a kiss The girls are laughing and I sit and type this These are the moments I know I can't miss. So hello darkness my old friend I don't have time for you again.

Life's naturally hell you've got to work to put a smile on.
