FAMILY TREES CAN BE FUNNY THINGS

Family Trees Can Be Funny Things......

Family trees can be funny things

When one thinks of forebears,

Where memories stretched

almost to breaking point,

Memories parts forgotten;

or do they matter what, when or where?

Memories fondly rekindled

of days of yore and times before,

Memories strained;

or are they worthwhile contributions to the now,

Memories of loved ones alive again

just like yesteryear and yesterday,

Memories deeper still;

remain untouched and maybe never will be revealed,

Memories of gladden times

create new memories forth,

Memories come, and they will go

just like today will be yesterday, tomorrow,

And family trees can be funny things you know,

when thinking of your forebears.
