Family Winds

Location

Blown away by the sails, Navy sent my man to other lands with his brothers in arms.

Came from farms to landing on shores, always spittin' his own form of charm.

Met a woman overseas, he fell in love instantly.

Didn't even know he was going to start his own family.

Times were different, but not really at all.

Wishing, working, turnin'-up, they weren't quite ready for twerkin' against The Wall.

Soon producing the girl so strong.

Fierce with her own knowledge capacity, it fascinated me.

My biggest influences will always be six years ahead of me.

A bond so strong even after the winds have blown us apart.

I mean, she taught me how to read.

Now when she writes to me, it makes my heart bleed.

In need for a deed only done with arms.

Holding one another, this will never feel wrong.

Yet, despite my best fight, family might consumes the doom and makes me shine bright.

Turning sadness into a piece of mind.

They gave me peace, so I’ll give them mine.

Take time to find the best light in one another.

Expose it.

Show it to see how much love can over-power.

Against my better judgment, everybody advising me not to move out.

Telling me to save money, but I'm in desperate need to branch out.

Find myself by myself.

Selfish? I think nahh.

Everyone knows what I was truly capable of.

Tears from here need to be stiff and stone.

Packs a punch when it rains, but why must I make it fall?

A true call, to venture out to show them I can make it without a doubt.

Throw my hands out, down the traitorous water spouts.

I know I can do it, especially since Spider-Man has always been there to teach me what life is all about.

I can hold it together for a few more bouts, but I can't keep overcoming these mounds by myself forever.

Always surround yourself with family, they got your back in any type of weather.
