Famous

All the good turns old
When we wear out the luster
Must we wait for that spark to ignite
Any form of passion and motivation?
Someone to inspire us, to relate
In search of an outlet
An option instead of lies
Instead of hate, instead
Of what is now.
Instead, we look towards
what can be
Because right now we
are broken
But they seem to
have a light
that glows with comfort
They carry a sense of
responsibility greater
than ourselves
and the way that
we live our lives
So we obsses
over them and
what they do,
instead of us
and how we
live.

And it is meaningless
Because no matter what
they may stand for,
they are still themselves
and will never know you
like you think that you
know them.

The connection is
pure fiction.
