Fanciful Ideas
They shake their heads when I have "too much hope" for the world.
I give people the benefit of the doubt.
I try to believe that everyone has some good in them.
They just say, "If only you knew."
Well. Maybe not, but I have experienced a taste of it.
There are good people out there, sure, but most just worry about
themselves and really could not care less about people they do not know
and their problems, unless it affects them, also.
It's sad. When did humanity become so... inhumane?
Call me stupid, call me naive, but I will continue to believe everyone
has at least a little bit of good in them.
My name means 'hope,' after all.
