From Fantasies to Dreaming Big

A pink dress

And a funny mess

A little child

With no regrets.

Time goes by

And thoughts start to fly

The once little girl

Is now discovering things in life.

She realizes that not everything is free

She stares in disbelief

Her parents are struggling to pay their needs

And she needs to help with some fees.

To continue living good

She needs a job soon

Starts working from eight to two

So she could help pay what is due.

She is now seventeen

Looking back at her childhood dreams

She knows now that they were just fantasies

And that it is time to focus on dreaming big.
