Fantasy Alive

Fantasy Alive

As our mouths meet, and perform their synchronized routine

Familiar, yet new every time

As those lips, soft, marshmallow pieces of heaven

Meet with my tingling, eager lips

As your young moustache tickles my skin

As we exchange scents, and feed off of each other’s passion

Contributing equally to this newfound warmth between us

As we kiss

I open my eyes, slowly, my lids uncovering two pearls

Seemingly virgin to the light for how long they’ve been hidden.

My dark lashes shading them protectively

My vision rests comfortably upon your face

So close- no closer could we possibly be

Yet I long to be nearer

And this yearning takes hold of me

Like a recurring epiphany

I love him!

And my hands fly to caress your cheeks

Like a winged majestic creature flies to nurture its young

Urgent, but tender

Tenderly, you touch me

Almost as though you fear I might break

Caution! Fragile.

But the only thing precarious is the condition of my heart

So trustingly in your possession.

Your eyes are alluring, your skin smooth

And colored like a fresh sugar cookie

“Bake until golden brown” –

And so God did after he painted you

Your hands let me know that everything is faultless

Your expression is wanting and vulnerable

Vulnerable for me;

wanting…for me.

In this moment, you are the image of perfection

Your soft gaze rests comfortably upon my face

And in my casual glance at the beauty that is you

I am met with the euphoric revelation

That my fantasies, that my dreams,

Have crossed over into my reality

And manifested themselves

In you.
