Far Behind

Truthfully though,

I know I need to radically accept,

But I’m actually dying inside,

Since I can’t find a remedy for this pain;

I’ve begged,

I’ve hoped,

But nothing seems to work,

And so I’m stuck here in the mud of my past

While everyone else is skipping cheerfully in the future.

writers_gonna_write

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
