Far from gone
Driving down the road, heading for the highway
Need to get away from the things that happened lately
My worries and thoughts, rolled in this cigarette
Smoking out my problems, the nicotine aleviates
We've all messed up we regret our mistakes
But we do them early, cause it's never late to change
Have this girl consistently, saying that she's feeling me
But I just got through my ex so I see things suspiciously
I'm on a pursuit to become independent
And it seems like the rest of the world doesn't understand it
Breaking loose to be free, I'm on the movement
Cause finding new things is the only working treatment
Slave to this club drinking vodka texting last year's hoe
She said "let's meet up" I say "I'm good and finna go home"
When me and my ex broke up I couldn't believe she left me
I'm still amazed at how quick her feelings faded
I was really motivated I even anticipated
For her I patiently waited and then she just said "forget it"
Now I'm wasted, intoxicated both my pupils stay dilated
Friday game my snare is straightened playing diddles while I'm faded
And I can't stay concentrated my liver contaminated
My drum major calculated the number of shots I've taken
I often lay down and I flash through my life
I go through the memories that shape who I am
There were many days, when the sun was shy
And the darkness was outgoing all the time
Now tables turned, cause I've seen enough
So I smile and cry, as I'm going through my thoughts
When it all comes back, I'll be far moved on
When you realize what you had, I'll be far from gone.
