the far moon slightly chipped

the far moon slightly chipped,

whispers so softly

bring me home, i plead

to sleep with me in

solitude

how can i reach the place i long for?

save me from loneliness

my abandoned heart

can't take this

singing a bittersweet

lullaby

how can i reach the place i long for?

under these dark clouds

sing me to sleep and

rest my soul

in a sweet serenade of the

mind

how can i reach the place i long for?

i howl at the moon

as if i can reach it that way

begging this flesh to

fall apart at the

seams

how can i reach the place i long for?
