Farewell

Tell me…

   Tell me… what you know…

Give me nothing, but the truth…

   Help me… understand…

What has gone on…

   For so long…

Why?

   Why must you betray me…

When I am need of comfort…

   Of your warming love…

How can you do this to me?

   Why leave without telling me…

What you did that night?

   While I lie…

In a cold room…

   Filled of silence…

Wondering… worried…

Of the sickness… eating me alive…

And you…

   Sit there… looking guilty…

When you know…

   That you aren’t…

You know that your desires are more…

   Then me…

You know that I couldn’t give you what you wanted….

So you went searching for it…

Leaving me alone… to die…

   Starved without your warmth…

All the kisses… hugs and nights…

   I give you…

Myself…

And you only wanted more and more…

And more…

   Waiting for an answer…

Now it’s not the time…

I can no longer handle this…

I love you… but,

   You do not love me…

Good bye… forever and ever and…

   Ever…
