Farewell

As I stare out at the great abyss,

I think of all those whom I will miss

For today is the day I go to die,

And it is time to say goodbye.

To all of those that I love,

I will wait for you up above.

And if there is no heaven nor hell,

In which our souls go to dwell,

This comfort to you I give

That this great life we did live.

These words of wisdom I will tell:

Don’t wait for the toll of the bell.

Life’s too short to wait for fate,

For it is fickle and comes too late.

To all those whose lives touched mine,

Farewell, until next time.
