"Farewell Sweet Lover"

Adieu sweet lover The hour of departure has Emerged in the bleakest Manner, A remnant of love Gone awry in the truest sense As I draw my last breaths, May our lips caress once more So I can cherish the passion that Exists at that very moment, And ingrain it in my memory A lasting testament of your love So pure and honest Farewell sweet lover! May I see you in dreams That reflects the days of yore, For that is when we shall meet again.

RebelPoet

A small town New England poet from CT. I like figuring out ways to make words work. Suppose you could call me a Rebel Poet. I write about your standard themes in different ways. I also write about experiences, changes, etc. I'd like it if you'd read what I post and leave constructive criticism. I don't consider debates constructive or conducive to writing, though.
