Fast-paced World

She is sitting on the ground. Her legs neatly folded underneath her. Her back slightly bent. Sitting in the middle of a world of movement. The sounds of the world are directed at her at full volume. Yet she hears nothing. The chaos of the world is spread out all around her. Yet she sees nothing. She only hears and sees what is in her heart. Impenetrable to the world's distractions, she sits there. Waiting. For it all to slow down.
