Fastidious

I was never one to waste my breath;

When every word is worth

It’s weight in gold,

You have no choice

But to make them heavy,

Lasting.

Solidify the spastic thoughts

And cut through the superfluous.

Say what you must

With as little as possible.

And learn to enjoy the flickers

Of sanity

That course through the silent lapses in your thoughts,

Where you realize

We are all hiding.
