The fatal lie

Flames dancing in her eyes

Her mind full of anger, not of why’s?

Frustrated she believed the lies,

Couldn’t see thru his disguise

Thoughts now comprised of plotting and strife

She sits and waits for night to fall

This information was the final straw

She drives to the place where she once stayed

She drops the match and walks away
