The Fate that Found Me

When life was as light as a feather, And so was I, with my empty book in hand I thought of it as just beautiful words meshed together It had turned out not how I had planned My shaky little hands scribbled the words It was supposed to be a book full of art i was clueless as to the future I was leaning towards It became a book filled with writing from my heart It was not what I had intended to make Maybe-I’m not sure-I had seen it before But thank goodness, because it was certainly fate I will never quite know where it came from for-sure All I know is that it is where my mind and my heart agree Poetry is where this crazy world meshes perfectly for me
