Fate of My Soul

It's light outside, but the dark consumes me. Everything in the world seems to never want me free. I'm scratching at the holes in the wall, trying so hard to break away. I don't know if it's been seconds, or hours, or more than one day. "Outside I'm hungry but inside I'm just consumed." I guess I'll live my life as everyone assumed. My hand hurt from the picking, the scratching and destroying. Living a simple, good life seems to not be my thing. It's light outside, but the darkness consumes me. And now... My soul is going... going... gone...
