Fate... or Destiny?
Who ever knew
That fate would ever meet destiny?
That their two worlds would ever collide,
When they themselves are worlds apart?
I'm flirting with destiny,
What harm can that be?
The threat that fate may cave,
And destiny may win.
One heart,
Two hearts,
One beat.
It's the pulsing you feel free-flowing
Through your veins and your mind
Fate, who hates so much of what destiny is
Finds it to be an attractive object
Destiny has hands, but fate has the imagination
Of where destiny could end up
Placing its hands
Destiny doesn't understand
How fate moves, feels, sees the world
The little tick infecting your mind
Distracting you from what you do best
Fate – the cause, feeding that same tick
The essence it needs to survive
In both minds
To touch, to feel, to taste destiny
Could it ever feel so right?
Fate's touch, its feel, its taste
Venom from a poisonous flower
But no one knows, it's a sweet feeling on your tongue
Destiny –
The tongue that tastes.
Fate –
The taste in your mouth.
A silent toxin for destiny.
It is the apocalypse
When fate and destiny meet
When their worlds intertwine so that
No one knows they are two,
But believes they are one
Silent, passionate lovers
Fate and destiny are.
I'm dancing with destiny
Not caring about harm to come
Because the passion destiny gives
Is the passion fate longs to feel
Can you feel it, too?
The passion has saturated the air,
Infected the lungs of those
Who dare watch
Fate flirts with destiny
Until destiny takes hold of fate
And possesses it
Fate gives in, struggling to breathe
Destiny, keeper of all fate knows
Their paths have crossed
Do you choose fate, or destiny?
