Father

If you were to ask what I've missed most in my life, I would say,

"I have missed the bond between a father and son that grows stronger from day to day."

If you were to ask what in my life I'm ashamed of I would reply,

"I am ashamed to say that when my father asked "please?" more than once I refused to try."

If you were to ask why I refused to try, regretfully I would confirm,

"With him I would not take the time to live, love or learn."

If you were to ask why I would not take the time, with tears in my eyes I would say,

"He hurt me so bad that all I wanted to do was push him away."

So before it is too late,  I want to say one thing to you,

"I forgive you father, and never forget your son loves you too."
