Father

My Father, I know I should be

sorry,

I know I shoud fall down upon Your

feet, clawing at Your

calves, begging for Your mercy, for my

God,

I have sinned.

My Lord, I am sure Your brow is

furrowed

in disdain, for I, Your lowly

servant,

have disobeyed You; but

Father, You should know, I am not

ashamed.

You say You sent Your son to die for

us, to be our

Sacrificial Lamb, that

He bore the cross to

atone for our

wrong, to free us from

Hell,

Father, did You not mean

all?

My God, are Your children right when they

scream

for the Holy Blood shed when

X loves no Y, and Y craves its

brother?

Father, can it truly be a sin to

love another?

Forgive me, Lord, for I can´t

fathom how Your

Grace

could be denied of the hands reaching for

You

just because they hold that of a forbidden lover, how a

Father so compassionate to others could

turn his back on a child because

he was born with breasts or

her chromosomes read XY.

My Father, do You truly love us

all?

Or does Your unconditional care

stop

before it reaches those who are under the

one condition?

Regardless,

I am not ashamed.

Father, I am not ashamed to love

You or Your son but

Father,

neither am I ashamed to love those who

love another, who

are another, I am not ashamed to sing

Hallelujah in the form of

Black Lives Matter and

Women with Equal Power, I am not ashamed to spread love because

love is love and

Father, You told me to

love my neighbor.

My God, my brothers and sisters speak of

treason against

You, that

You would be ashamed of

me, for I have fought for things against which

Your disciples preached.

But Father, I am not ashamed,

if Love is a sin, then

opne the Gates of Hell and let me in for

I will be at home there,

amongst my brothers and sisters that are

told to have been

shunned

from Your steps.

Father, if my world ends in fire and my

only sin was Love, then God,

may I burn brightly for

I am not ashamed.
