Father

Staring at my window all day alone

Many tears coming down from me

As much as it hurts me to think of him

I can’t escape the memories, of we

Although he is me

Words said mean too much to be left alone

I tried to reach him heart and soul

His pride does not let him pick up the phone

In this box I hold all the love he gave me

My sadness begins to turn to rage

In the trash is where you will find his things

Our fight continues to become a younger age

But his love for me has him in the rain

And at the end of the day we are sane
