Father Figure

There are many definitions for the word "Father."

Is it the man you call Dad?

Is it the the man who founded something great?

Maybe, it is the man who preaches at your church.

For myself, a father is the one who has shown care and protection.

A father is the man who does all he can to help you.

A father is the man who can sense the pain behind your smile.

A father is the man who takes you under his wing, he teaches you how to fly.

My father is not my father by blood.

My father is not my father by marriage.

My father is a father figure.

He is my father by heart.

He does all he can to help.

He knows when I am upset.

He has taken me under his wing, and he is teaching me how to fly.
