Father Forgive Them
Lord your people come before you humbled, lost, broken , and confused.
They bring their hurt , pain, complaints and request before You.
Father, Forgive Them They Not Know What They Do
They do not honor and glorify you, It’s always a request Of give me , give me , give me. Like they forgot what you have done for them! They forgot you have gave the ultimate gift, You gave life!
Father, Forgive Them They Not Know What They Do
When we turn on the news there is shooting after shooting , when we go to listen to the radio there is another killing. We ask ourselves is our children safe to go to school, is it safe to go outside, On one hand losing faith in our government, and the other hand doubting and losing faith in God! Asking Where are you?
Father, Forgive Them They Not Know What They Do
You said in your word that we are a chosen people, and that we are royal priesthoods, Instead of using our gifts for good we fall into the temptations of this world. Using the gifts You gave for personal gain, instead of gain for the Kingdom.
Father, Forgive Them They Not Know What They Do
Drug dealers making money off the weak, Killing off our children, parents, and friends
While churches our casting out the meek, and judging those that come off the streets
The Bible says love thy neighbor as yourself, but we continue to treat our neighbors as strangers.
Father, Forgive Them They Not Know What They Do
Luke 23:1-22 Jesus was brought before pilot for trial , only to be sent to King Harold to be mocked by him and his soldiers, dressed in a robe and sent back to pilot for judgement. Pilot presented Jesus to the crowd , asking what should I do with this man, Not knowing who he was condemning, Not knowing that he was in the presence of royalty. The crowd without thinking yelled crucify him, crucify him.
