Father May I?

Father, may I ask a question? May I tell you how I feel during this depression? Can I tell you how I feel when you’re not here and how that’s something hard to heal?  Can I tell you how I long for a father but it seems like you don’t even want to bother?  Can I tell you how I long for love so I get comfort from man sometimes without a glove? Can I tell you why I’m so hurt or why you’re treating your first like dirt? Can I tell you these things? Wait, are you even listening?

Father, may I ask a question? May I tell you how I feel during this depression? Can I ask why you left my mom alone not even letting it be known? Can I ask you why now you try to enter my life, I’m 18 now why haven’t you been around? Can I tell you that I’m doing well in school, not acting like no fool? Can I tell you that? Can I tell you how I been crying for you sometimes it feels like I’m dying? Dad listen to me I’m your oldest!!!

Father, may I ask a question? May I tell you how I feel during this depression? Can I tell you all the hatred I have against you everything so cruel? No, maybe I shouldn’t! I’m asking too many questions but some are my confessions….
