fatherless

I try to fit in , But I'm nothing like the other's, like laying in the cold with shorts on and no covers, Trying to discover, Who i really am inside Though I'm lying just to cover, Up these feelings I can't hide So I think to myself for a moment "why bother"?? .back to life I near again, Tried blaming my father, Looking for conformation, While I loan for his approval, Hard to find a male role model , Though a father would be useful, Though I stand before you I'm still youthful in your eyes, But growing up alone feeling useless and despised made a generation of "the youth" ""the wise"" But not to you All you see is the trouble As I'm seeking for a out stretched hand to help me out this struggle, As I'm trying to be subtle/ only to get rejected, Life passes me by as I'm dying for your acceptance. - Michael Ward
