The fatherless child

who are you? That's the question I want to know

you were absent through out my life.. Where did the time go?

thought you would come back now, but the time seems so slow

do you even remember me now? Doubt if you know.

the birthdays? The cookouts? The missed games? Graduations?

what about those? Those were the times I needed you the most

when you weren't around, my heart turned so cold.
