A Father's Love

Second place

The backburner

The fault bearer

Worthless

Stupid

Idiot

Liar

Anorexic

Twig

Bird

In the background

I silently watch as work takes over

It’s a two way street

I should reach out

What is the point in all of this anymore?

Pawns in your little game

Leading role in your show

Do you want me?

Did you ever want me?

Was I that much of a burden to you?

What do you see me as?

I am not a priority

Just someone used to quietly disappearing

I’m not your angel

You created a broken angel instead

I just wanted you to love me

Instead you use me

To do your bidding

Nothing is fun anymore

It feels like I’m being used

I just wanted the true love of a father

I guess it was too much for you

I can’t try anymore with you
