Father's Romanticism

Father’s Romanticism

By/Cecilia

If I were banished to an island

named nothingness,

I will bring

My father’s romanticism.

My father’s romanticism

is the most beautiful rose in our garden,

is the shiniest star in the sky,

is love for my mom,

is absolute optimism,

is a monster that urges my rage,

is a peaceful lake.

If I bring it,

I will be the bravest girl on earth.

Like a decent knight, or

Like a maniac arsonist.

I will smash this island

by

planting all beautiful flowers on it

using my father’s

romanticism.
