Favorite dress

I learnt to love your favorites To tolerate likes of yours that are dislikes of mine So that I may get to see you in what of all your belongings, to me, is the best. I crave it Time is money But the time spent in designing that piece is the only time I believe is priceless Each time my eyes land on yours I feel as though I'm in debt Gifted to behold two beautiful stars up close and feel them comfort the soul they met And I wish that I were the moon so I could even partially reflect to others the enticement of those two noons But still all that is incomparable to what I see when you wear it I see you in it and I promise myself to do nothing that'll ever tear it You blush and I feel this rush You speak and I feel my desperation for you leak You wear it and I swear my thoughts stammer for a while Darling I'm not speaking of a fabric, I'm talking about your smile
