Fear

Fear of not remembering how to save a life And the fright that could drive me to walk off the stage I fear failure at the time when it's most vital I succeed I dread the loss of music and laughter and dance The fear that no one will want to sing, laugh, play a tune I fear the death of all that is beautiful What happens when the dark swallows the light? A candle can light a dark room But what happens if it is snuffed out? What will this world be when There's anger And never happiness War And never peace Screams And never laughter Rivalry And never friendship Hate And no love I fear a world out of control
