Fear

Fear. What is fear?

Fear is what hinders every rational thought.

Fear is the constant should I or should I not?

Fear is all the what ifs, the buts, the whys.

Fear is the devil on my shoulder shouting lies.

Fear is a dark, desolate place.

Fear is a false embrace.

Fear is the enemy.

But fear won’t win me.

It’s over. This is the end.

Fear… well, fear was never a friend.
