The fear

One last hug,
Just before I go to bed

One last alarm,
to bring about my biggest fear

Once last kiss
on the rosie red checks
of the most loving caring person.

One more good-bye,
to my best friend
whose taught me everything,

The good-bye,
Did not last long.

One more look,
at the picture,
of us dancing
through the storm,

Sending reminders,
That you're still here
running thorugh walls
with me,

Things are just different,
no more hugging
no more fighting
just loving
Everything that we stood for.

This is from the time I lost my best friend in the world due to Als. She taught me a lot about life. However, we didn't get along 24/7. My uncle told me about the day that she died and I lost him last year. So this is one of the sweetest gestures I've ever seen in my life. He loved her truely and died 2 years later on the same day as she did. He kissed her good-bye everymorning and goodnight every night. He loved her more then anything else in the world.
