Fear

What is fear?
-I never knew
While on the moon's bed
That I would be wounded
By you.
You have no right
To come from behind
Even at night.
Anxiety did bind
My thoughts
Fogging my view
Like black dots
All 'round me.
The good seemed bad,
The bad-good.
Paralysis of analysis,
Kept me bound.

No matter how much good you do it's never good enough.
Love has limits,
It's basis permits
The transparent to take hold
Of one's mind
Stopping them from being bold
Enough to save a life.
What is more devastating is not being rejected
But not trying- feeling as though even bad's directed
At you.
No, Dear, it's not bad luck
There is no such thing-
Every single good
Every single bad
Happens for a reason to make you cling
To the one you can't see or touch.
The One who feels more real than life itself -
The Divine
Is mine.
Who can make leaves dance in the wind
