Fear

I am scared
Alone
It's something I feel
Fear

It surrounds me
envelops me.
It controls every ounce of my being
Fear

It only knows one thing
It doesn't feel
or care
It only wants one thing
Fear

It demands to be noticed
It cries out for attention
All it wants is you
Fear

It sits inside you
Festering
Scratching at your insides
Until you bleed
Fear

It controls you
It beats you down until nothing,
Nothing,
Is left of you
Fear

Confidence,
shattered to pieces
Bravery no longer exists
What is this?
Fear

I'm drowning within myself
I'm crying but no one is there to listen
All I have left is one emotion-
Fear
