Fear

I can feel the taste of water going down my throat.

I'm trying not to freak out.

I'm tiny compared to this ocean.

I feel it pulling me in even deeper.

I can't breath!

My life is flashing before my eyes. I can see my family escaping my mind.

I'm struggeling, I keep trying, but I keep losing the light.

trying to open my eyes, all I can see is a big blur.

I'm trying to reach the top to breath.

I can't, I feel the saltiness of the ocean go down my throat.

I keep choking which just makes me drink more water.

Maybe I should stop!

I should just give up!

the struggle

All I see is blurriness and is getting worst by the seconds, I can hear the silence.

That's all I have.

I feel something touching my hand and suddently pulling it. I see the light.

the surface.

I'm trying to smile, but I'm cold, I'm shaking.

I start coughing water, water and even more water.

I try to open my eyes, but I can't.
