The Fear

Questions, unanswerable to us on Earth Haunt the tortured soul beside me. How often these wretched emotions Ascend from Hell into her weary heart. Her eyes glisten with fresh tears An open book of complete devastation. The world passes by without any Expression of comfort or consolation. But I see, feel, and live the pain Of a raw soul stripped of all innocence.
