Fear

Hey Fear,

What’re you still doin’ here?

I told you to go

Cause you always bring me down

So

low –

A simple question’s all it takes

To make my hands shake

Like my life’s at stake

Well I’ve got news

I’m gonna stop singin’ your blues

And I’m refusing your excuses

To follow the song I believe in

I wanna bear my skin

Cause vulnerability ain’t a sin

And I’m letting you go

Even though I know you’ll follow

But just stay a step or two behind

Let me speak my mind.

Sincerely,

Sage
