Fear

I look at it in pain

I think I have nothing to gain

I look forward

Telling myself, word by word

“It’s going to be Okay.”

“You will get through this today.”

I must continue to fight,

And just look for the light

I must fight

With all my might

For my right

In spite

Of Fear
