Fear of Failure

Always there in the shadows

Acting like they know it all.

I’ll admit I’ve made mistakes,

But they keep me down after the fall.

The rage inside me continues to build

With no clear way of release.

But still they continue to act so smugly.

Only when they’re destroyed will I have peace.
