Fear of Falling

A cliff in the distance

Whispering tempations in my ear,

And I hear, I hear the beat of the drum.

The melody of my curiosity,

I obey the call with such velocity,

The fear of falling disappears

With all the past doubts and tears.

For no more will I hold back,

No piece of me will lack.

All or nothing, I throw in my deck,

Heck, raise the bid for my certainty.

Sure of it, I dive headfirst,

Finally quinching the thirst.

At the bottom lies awaiting arms,

Anticipating the gift of my heart.
