Fear Mansion
In a haunted mansion encircled with bats
rounding bloodcurdling cobwebs
A jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin is lit
with a wick from a dead lizard’s tail.
There, a nightmare spun from witches’
cackling to children lured with candy
into a cauldron lit in an eerie cemetery.
Warlocks flying broomsticks, stand guard.
A Ghoul frightens men and women
looking for a cadaver out of its coffin.
with gory limbs and a bloody mouth
emerging from a casket of an open grave.
In the courtyard Vampires roam
like an Apparition howling, calling
for the grim reaper to come forth
for souls so lost and goth.
A Goblin tickled with laughter
from children shouting trick or treat
in creepy costumes of bones and fangs
tears floors looking for victims to eat.
Cries and laughs mixed like a dye
die out around the mansion’s bonfire
on Halloween’s eve to Ghosts
rejoicing with humans in fear.
