Fear Is My BFF

Fear is my Best Friend.

We have known each other

Since birth;

We have grown up 

Together.

Always by my side and

Always with me.

Fear is my Motivator.

Constantly pushing me forward,

Keeping me on

My toes.

Helping me make those life changing

Decisions, when I needed

That last push.

But Fear is also

My Enemy.

Posessing the ability to blind;

Darkening my vision,

Throwing me into the world defenseless.

Making it hard to breathe at times,

Choking on my own words.

Fear is my best friend.

Although sometimes freezing me in place,

Forever motivating me to continue

Walking forward.

Fear has helped me come

To where I stand now.

Fear and I are the closest of

Friends.
